That quick and massive left hook that landed at the edge of Hatton’s right jaw, ended the rather short fight between him and Pacman.  The Battle of East and West’s main fight only lasted up to two rounds.  The British opponent has been beaten, and in double jeopardy, when, after receiving a hard blow from Manny, hit his head on the canvass of the boxing arena.  Pacman finished the fight, leaving him lying on the floor, shocked and in pain, semi paralyzed, and losing his IBO Light welterweight title.

Ricky “the Hitman” Hatton, from Greater Manchester, England, sorely lost to our very own Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao.  The former, with height, weight and experience advantage succumbed to the latter’s agility and reach advantage.  Hatton was brutally battered even in round one.  He lost his balance twice after receiving few lethal punches from his dear opponent.  Our Pambansang Kamao, once again, made us all proud.  Mabuhay ka Manny!  Jia You!  And good luck to your next opponent, Floyd Mayweather.

Multi User Dungeon(MUD) games are becoming more and more popular because of social networking sites.  This text-based type of online entertainment conquered the hearts of many not just because it serves as an interconnecting bond between online users, but it is also very convenient to play compared to RPGs and PC games.  The latter which are more into GUI(Graphical User Interface) consume a lot of space in you PC’s memory and installation is a must to play.  On the other hand, MUD games don’t require any of those because you will just play it online along with your friends without the hassle of installation and lagging because of memory space problem.

In MUDs, players are whisked into another dimension wherein golds, jobs, coins, abilities, comrades and the likes are the basic necessities to level up and defeat enemies.  Through text-based battles and competitions, a gamer can gain wealth, skills, properties, favors and all.  Anyone can play and the best thing about it is it’s for free.  You can actually play and gain friends at the same time, and it could lavish your vocabulary with massive gamer and out of this world terms.

When playing MUD games please keep this motto in mind: “If it moves, kill it. If it kills you, try killing something else.” I got this from Vampire Wars FAQ page.  Anyways, below is an example of an MUD game.

Aside from playing badminton again, I also accomplished a few missions for today.  The heck!  Lolers.

Mission 1: Blood Diamonds
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
Target: Peter Van Doeren

Peter Van Doeren runs a cross-border diamond smuggling operation with nearby African countries. Once he gets the diamonds in his possession, he provides a South African stamp of origin and sells them on the international market. A rival South African diamond merchant is tired of losing out to smugglers and wants Van Doeren removed from the picture.

Result:
As your target is hiking to the top of Table Mountain as part of his daily exercise routine, you trigger explosives and create a rock slide to kill your target.

Your plan was perfectly executed! The explosion caused nearly two tones of rock to fall onto your target, killing him instantly!
Congratulations! Mission Complete.

Mission 2: MS 13
Location: San Salvador, El Salvador
Target: Jose de la Cruz

The Mara Salvatrucha (MS 13) is a ruthless street gang originating in El Salvador, Central America. They control much of the drug flow coming up through Mexico to the USA. A Los Angeles drug lord is getting tired of his deliveries being intercepted by the MS 13 and wants you to eliminate one of their top gang leaders, Jose de la Cruz.

Result:
Track Jose down at a motorbike rally and wait for him to start making-out with his girlfriend before opening up with your gun.

As you waited for your target to make a move on his chica, a fight broke out between them. You took aim and fired but their quick movements resulted in your bullet hitting the girl. Your target bolted for cover but you managed to pick him off.
Congratulations! Mission Complete.

Mission 3: Turkish Bloodbath
Location: Istanbul, Turkey
Target: Ahmed Matil

Ahmed Matil runs a money-laundering business and brothel from his Turkish bathhouse in central Istanbul. The Turkish mafia allows this to happen but charges him a ’service tax’ in return for their protection. Mr. Matil has been avoiding payment for the last six months, despite threats and a broken jaw. The mafia has had enough and wants him dead.

Result:
Enter the bathhouse disguised as a patron and track your target to his office. You walk in and shoot him point blank while mumbling “you had your chance!”

Your strategy was bold…although you managed to kill your target, the staff were quick to his aid. You had to battle with all your skills and experience in order to fight your way to freedom.
Congratulations! Mission Complete.

The text message above is definitely funny, but it is an ugly reflection of how most Pinoy discriminate someone who doesn’t speak fucking English fluently. This, also shows how narrow-minded most of us when it comes to how we measure intelligence and capability. No wonder we are still living in a developing country until now. Hypocrisy dominates most of our central traits which has blinded us to see genuine talent and ability. We always assume that when someone is good in speaking english, he or she is smart and intelligent and everything. How pathetically wrong!

Well, this post is definitely not intended to rant about how pathetic most Pinoy are. This post is intended to praise Manny Pacquiao, Oscar Dela Hoya’s new idol. The golden boy in the boxing arena who has been a reigning champion and living legend bowed down and surrendered to Pacman at the start of the ninth round in their recently concluded Dream Match at MGM Grand, Nevada, USA.

I never thought the game would end that way. Dela Hoya has more fighting advantages compared to Pacman. First, is the height advantage. Pacman is only 5′ 6″ tall compared to Dela Hoya’s 5′ 10″. Next, is the reach advantage. Dela Hoya has long arms compared to Manny which means a high hitting probability. The Golden Boy is also famous of his powerful left jab and has more fighting experiences compared to our pambansang kamao. But all of these expected advantages had been easily vanquished by Pacman’s agility, good footworks, lethal throws and punches, and a combination of consistent offensive and defensive moves.

Manny Pacquiao dominated the whole game from round one to round eight. He threw the first few punches in the first round and managed to avoid Dela Hoya’s. The Golden Boy was reduced to a mere punching bag in round four to eight. Pacman emerged victorious after Dela Hoya accepted defeat with an injured face and a black eye. Pacman, on the other hand, accepted the victory unscathed along with millions of victorious Filipino around the world. Our Pambansang Kamao has clearly obliterated USA’s Golden Boy after 8 rounds due to technical knock out. Yeeeyyyyyy!

N.B. Have you noticed that the background music played after each round was of Rammtein’s? I’m referring to GMA 7’s game coverage. Hehehe.
