We Would Be Leaving Soon
We will be leaving this place soon and I feel a little bit lonely. This numbered floor in this 12-storey building situated in the center of Cebu Business Park has been a haven for me in the past seven months.
I will definitely miss the elevator trips with Sex and the City girls from 6th to 10th floor hunting for some mouth-watering preys(hahahaha!), the nonsense trips to 4th floor looking for some centerfold model, the crazy trips riding the cargo elevator, and the horror stories behind the malfunctioned elevator which had gotten the shit out of me in my first few days of work.
I will miss the restroom sessions just to escape the bone chilling cold of the place especially in the morning and afternoon, the hilarious shitting siestas, and the shameless gossips. I will miss the streamings, and also the memory of our first shots of tequila for Gen’s first day of work initiation.
I will also definitely miss number 6. That number 6 that stayed in the back of my heady and half-cooked brain when I banged my bloody face in the clear glass wall because I was too sleepy. Man, I will miss this place as hard as I missed CGC, my very first home away from home.
We will be transferring soon to our new place in IT Park and I hope everything will be all right. Well, I guess this is of fate’s doing. I really don’t like hanging out there since there’s something terrible in that area of town. I just hope I won’t be meeting the monster face to face. Anyways, enough with this post. So long penguins!
