Whew…I enjoyed the fiesta but not really its true essence as what the Catholic church preaches to its people. I didn’t go to the Basilica and I really hate watching Sinulog parade in the streets. I just went to JC’s house and went to gigs with friends.

playing around at ayala while waiting for the others…

waiting for “the dawn” at mango square

sporting my bloody kirara-hair, the 2008 hair trend…ahehehe…

I dedicate this music video to someone special. Ahehehe! Hmmmn…I’m crazy and I love it. I mean the video. I watched it a lot of times but I can’t get enough of it. This reverberating music video will wake you up and will keep your senses awake for such a long time. Ahehehe! Yeah, believe me and you’ll definitely fall in love with the vox. Ahehehe… After Forever will always be in my A-List. Superb…again *speakless*(hahahahahahaha…). Warning: this youtube vid is autoplay so please be careful it might crack your eardrums…hahahahaha…

And here’s the lyrics if you are so desperate (like me) to have a duet with Floor Jansen. Good luck! *winks*

Energize me with a simple touch
Or with an open heart
Energize me, fire up this flame
That’s burning between us

It’s not a fantasy
Another mistery
It’s just what I can feel
And something I can see
It’s like a memory
And in a melody
It’s just what we all know
And we all hear

I was blind
I was closed down
Could not feel
Or set it free

Energize me with a simple touch
Or with an open heart
Energize me, fire up this flame
That’s burning between us

It lies in everyone
This swalling energy
It’s all around us too
Electrifying you
So can’t you set it free?
This virtue is the key
Just something we all know
And we are used

I can feel
It’s inside me
Open up
Enlighten me

Energize me with a simple touch
Or with an open heart
Energize me, fire up this flame
That’s burning between us

Energize me with a simple smile
Open up your mind
Energize me activate that light
That’s given and taken

Can you believe in the power that’s burning between us?
Would you believe if you open up your mind
Open up your mind

Energize me with a simple touch
Or with an open heart
Energize me, fire up this flame
That’s burning between us

Energize me with a simple smile
Open up your mind
Energize me, fire up this flame
That’s burning forever

N.B.: hmmmn…it seems like the autoplay and auto-loop script don’t work here in wordpress…tsk…tsk…

Wacky, intelligent, gorgeous, talented, boyish, sophisticated, and everything. That’s Kooki of multiply.com.   I won’t reveal here who she really is. You better check her link in this post so that you’ll know. Ahehehe. Anyways, I visit her site every now and then and I always see interesting and nice stuffs there. She’s…(I’m “speakless”). Ahehehe. I find her recent post very nice and helpful that’s why I decided to repost it here…I hope you can get some clues and maybe some help or tips or the likes…Jah bless…

Losing My Pollution

The 5 things we can do to clean up our act!

1. the guts to eat the right stuff. junk tastes gooood but try drinking as much water as you can. then watch what you take in cos it can make you or break you. an electric juicer is still the best tool for gulping up the desired, but often dreaded, greens :)

my cousin and i have detox dates, never complete without the cucumber-carrot-apple-honey shake! you can also try adding a few malunggay leaves. according to a nutritionist I know, malunggay supposedly has 3x more calcium than milk and 7x more vitamin C than orange juice

TIP: don’t make the mistake of trying to process fresh malunggay into a shot glass… malakas pala tama nun para kang nag tequila!!! you’ll be hit by a serious migraine, cold sweats and a possible fainting fit.

2. get out of your comfort zone… do something. do one thing every week that scares you. slap yourself when you get crazy lazy & it’s not an official holiday. shake your boo-tay when you like the music you hear, cos angels aside, you are down and depressed sometimes! think of what, in the 9 lives of a cat, you believe in… you have to believe in SOMETHING… make yourself useful. puwera plastikan.

3. compliment someone (and mean it). I read this somewhere before and it’s so great. there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell you wouldn’t get a kick out of it– it works with anyone cos everyone is somewhat vain and wants a compliment! how bout saying THANK YOU to someone… or making a peace offering… there has to be someone you haven’t talked to in a while?
make peace, not war. make loooove, not war.

4. find something to LIKE. a new film? song? out of the box idea? a new dream job? a new tambayan? something about your PAST? laugh. try it now, smile. makes you feel good already i’m sure. laugh cos something’s funny, laugh cos you find something ridiculous. laugh cos it’s good for you. laugh cos you can.

5. never allow anyone to say you don’t have a BACKBONE. take a break. know when & why you have to be fair to yourself. know how to cry whether out of relief or remorse. know when something is hurting you. know when something is an act of truth or just an act, period. know when something is, or isn’t, good for you. don’t stress yourself out about it all… rest, and try to see why you should be proud of your decisions.

Happy bloody New Year!!!!!

Happy New Year everyone!!!! It’s already past 16 minutes after 12:00am according to my CPU clock, but nonetheless it’s really, really great to meet the new year with a “new-year-post”. Ahehehehe! Anyways, have you ever wondered how and when and who had started this bloody celebration? If you have no idea then so do I. Ahehehe. Here’s a short history of New Year that I googled a while ago.

New Year harks back to the words of Alfred Tennyson:

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

A beginning is ushered with the dawn of an era when anticipation lurks in every nook and cranny. What we know as “New Year” today has evolved from practices of time immemorial. 123New Year offers information on New Year History. New Year is the most ancient of all the holidays. The day was first observed in Babylon in the 2nd millennia BC.

The Babylonian year began with the first sighting of the crescent moon - the new moon - following the vernal (spring) equinox. In ancient cultures, spring is the herald of new beginnings for it epitomizes the cycle of birth. Farmers sow the seeds, new crops are planted and flowers bloom. January 1, on the other hand, bears no such connotation.

Ever since the inception of the Christian era, the Romans continued to observe New Year in late March. However, subsequently the monarchy intervened in the making of the calendar, which was designed so as to synchronize with the sun. In 153 BC, the Roman Capitol declared the date as January 1. That year, in order to coordinate the almanac with the sun, Caesar had to allow the previous year to go on for 445 days.

So now WE know…ahehehe. Goodnight err good morning! I have to get some sleep since we’ll watch Desperadas tomorrow. Ahehehe…Happy New Year!!!!!! Muwaaaaah!!!
